Making Therapy Accessible
At Keenly Advised, we believe quality mental health care should be accessible. That’s why we accept insurance—so you can focus on healing, not high out-of-pocket costs. We work directly with your insurance provider to confirm coverage and keep the process simple.

We recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:
-
Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
-
How much is my deductible and how much of it has been met this year?
-
What is my copay for outpatient mental health visits?
-
Is this coverage applicable before or after I met my deductible?
-
How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
-
Is approval or referral for mental health services required from my primary care physician?
-
Are virtual outpatient mental health visits (or teletherapy) covered by my plan?
Keenly Advised requires at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a $75 fee. This fee must be paid before your next appointment can be scheduled. Thank you for your understanding and commitment to the process.
Have Questions Before Reaching Out?
Under the No Surprises Act, you’re entitled to a Good Faith Estimate of costs if you’re paying out of pocket or using an out-of-network provider. This ensures transparency in your care and prevents unexpected billing.
Yes. A limited number of sliding scale slots are available. If cost is a concern, you may be eligible — we encourage you to reach out to discuss options or apply.
Sessions are collaborative and conversational. We’ll talk about what’s on your mind, explore patterns, and work together toward your goals. There’s no pressure to say everything at once — we move at your pace.
Our therapy is collaborative, culturally aware, and tailored to your needs. We draw from a range of evidence-based approaches including:
-
CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT, ACT, IFS, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Mindfulness-Based approaches, and more. Sessions are guided by your goals, and always grounded in respect, care, and your lived experience.
-
If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of your next steps, therapy can help. You don’t need to be in crisis — sometimes having space to reflect and be heard is the first step to healing.
At the moment, we are only offering virtual sessions. You can choose a time that works best for your comfort, schedule, and needs.
Yes. Trauma-informed care is part of my training and practice. Sessions are paced with safety in mind, and we’ll move forward only when you feel ready.
